A little about Darkwaters
On this site I will be known as Darkwaters. My real name is Aaron Sharpton. I’m 22 years of age and I’m an Artist. The name Darkwaters is a pen name and my artist signature. I've been doing art for the better part of my life. For more specifics I've always liked doodling but, in sixth grade after a long conversation of my aunt Melissa I was encouraged to pick up my pencils and try to push my artistic skills further. My grandfather also was a big inspiration for me taking this little hobby of mine farther past limits I had set myself with. As my art skills grew my grandfather made a painting of a wolf just for me. The joy of him giving a personalized art piece showed me the true joy of art sharing it with others.
After high school I started to go to college at Montevallo. The school was in itself a new experience. I not only learned how to deal with going to class for myself and not having someone watching over me but, I learned what it was like living with someone every day in a very cramped living space. I had immediately dove head first into not only the core classes that I had to take but, the art courses that at first was quite daunting. For the first semester I felt over whelmed with fear of everyone else’s skills in art compared to mine. What I had in inspiration I lacked the equal amount in skill. It wasn't till I got into sculpture 1 that I learned how much I loved clay. After my first assignment I knew I couldn't put this down and I changed my just art major to a specialized ceramics major.
Now you know why I love art and why here I’m Aaron Darkwaters. As for English I like to think that learning art allows me to appreciate the artistic side of English and I plan to use my artistic mind to bring a new look at the works we will be going over in English 102.

I will be adding art that I like and artist that inspire me. I will also add art that I have made and maybe a little of what my grandfather has made in the past.
